The people behind the Orbitpulseplaypursuit team sheet

Orbitpulseplaypursuit began with a simple frustration. We loved management games, but most write-ups were either breathless lists or forum threads assuming years of experience. We wanted a place that explained what each game actually feels like over a season, written for people with jobs, families and limited evenings.

Our desk is a small group of long-time players of football, hockey, basketball and motorsport managers. Between us we have run clubs through promotions, relegations, bad transfers and brilliant drafts, and we bring that experience to every review.

We play each game properly before writing about it, usually across a full competitive cycle. We note fixture rhythms, training systems, paid options and the moments that made us care, and we rewrite reviews when games change.

We are based in Britain, and our reviews are written for readers who want to know which game will fit their week, not just which game has the longest feature list.

01

Seasons before scores

We never score a game on first impressions. Management games reveal themselves over weeks, so we play long enough to see training pay off, finances bite and rivalries form.

02

Honest about the purse

We look carefully at what paid extras do. Convenience is fine; buying results is not. Our fairness score tells you how far a free manager can climb.

03

Written for real diaries

Every review states how much time a normal week asks. A brilliant game that demands more than you can give is not the right game for you.
